The Nominating Committee has announced its nominations for Circuit representatives on the NOSSCR Board of Directors. The nominations are as follows:

On August 29, 2008, ballots were mailed to all NOSSCR members of record as of June 1, 2008, in those circuits conducting elections. Completed ballots must be received by NOSSCR on or before October 1, 2008.
Background Information:
Our by-laws provide for the election of one Board member by NOSSCR members in each federal judicial circuit. In addition, if the membership in a single circuit exceeds 250 members, that circuit is entitled to a second Board member. If the membership in a single circuit exceeds 500, that circuit is entitled to a third Board member.
Members of the Board of Directors serve two-year terms, which expire at the time of our annual fall conference.
The election results will be announced at the NOSSCR business meeting in Los Angeles on Friday, October 17, 2008. At that time, the Board will also announce the results of its members’ election for the positions of Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.
