Daniel W. Emery, Esq. Announced as New President of the Board of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives

The National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), a specialized bar association for attorneys and other advocates who represent people with disabilities, is pleased to announce that it has elected Daniel W. Emery of Daniel Emery Law Office in Yarmouth, Maine, as its new President of the Board of Directors.
A long-time NOSSCR member and current board member, Emery brings over 30 years of legal experience to his new role. His one year term began during NOSSCR’s recent disability conference in Seattle, Washington.
Hosted twice in year in alternating locations, NOSSCR’s conferences feature authorities in Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income, including employees of the Social Security Administration.
“Today, 11 million Americans and their families rely on Social Security Disability Insurance,” said Emery. “I’m proud to serve as NOSSCR President, and I look forward to working with our dedicated members to help claimants and to strengthen Social Security Disability programs.”
