Associate Attorney (Morgan and Weisbrod LLP)

Location: Dallas, TX

Experience required:

  • 0 to 5 years of experience representing Social Security disability claimants; may consider attorneys with more experience.
  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing in Texas, or willing to seek a Texas license; if no Texas license, then must be licensed in another state or District of Columbia.

Position

Associate Attorney for a full-time position based in Dallas, Texas. Will meet clients and prepare them for hearings before SSA ALJs.  Represent clients at the Appeals Council and at other stages as required. Attorney will be responsible for all ongoing cases they are assigned and expected to attend 15 to 25 or more hearings per month. Hearings will include live hearings, phone hearings and video hearings. Occasional travel required.

  • Salary: $60,000 to $80,000 depending on prior experience
