Claims Analyst

Location: Clarkston, WA/Possibility for Remote

The Claims Analyst is responsible for the development of SSI and SSDI claims at the hearings level to ensure the highest likeliness of an award. Additionally, the Claims Analyst is responsible for reviewing all reconsideration denials to determine if appeal to the hearing level is warranted. The Claims Analyst collects all outstanding or new technical information, and medical, vocational and educational evidence and conducts an analysis of the evidence to demonstrate the alleged disability. The Claims Analyst prepares Summary of Evidence briefs for claims at the hearing level and is responsible for scheduling and preparing Hearing Representatives who present cases before an ALJ, including providing them with all relevant claim information once the hearing has been scheduled. The Claims Analyst is also responsible for post hearing development and denial reviews for all hearing cases. The Claim Analyst works closely with the claimant, social workers (when applicable), SSA, Disability Determination Services (DDS), and Office of Hearings Operations (OHO) throughout the application process to ensure a successful outcome of the disability claim.

Required Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study and min. 3 years’ relevant experience.
