Location: Orange County, CA/Co-location with Orange County Social Services Agency
The Disability Entitlement Analyst (DEA) manages a caseload of referrals received for CalWORKs/General Relief (GR) clients and initiates contact to evaluate their health conditions to determine if they have potential eligibility for SSI/SSDI and/or SSP benefits and develops initial applications when warranted. Interactions with CalWORKs/GR clients occur over the phone, at a GR office, in public locations easily accessible to clients, and at County sponsored outreach events at various locations. This person will be responsible to initiate contact with clients and gather a variety of heath evidence and other information to be used to complete an SSD/SSI application, create internal electronic files, maintain attention to detail, and manage processes that assure timeliness and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the DEA will be responsible for internal and external project reporting.
Required Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study and min. 3 years’ relevant experience.
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $17.00-$26.00. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
