Lea Robbins serves as NOSSCR’s staff attorney, where her primary role is to assist NOSSCR members in their ability to represent claimants for Social Security disability and SSI benefits by providing individualized research assistance and offering assistance on delayed fees, among other things. Lea is also responsible for summarizing all published federal court cases and updating the material in NOSSCR’s listings/grids subscription, both available for purchase in NOSSCR’s company store. Prior to joining NOSSCR in July 2016, Lea worked for a private law firm representing Social Security claimants out of Richmond, Virginia since graduating from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2013. During her last year of law school, Lea also worked as a Social Security brief writer, drafting pre-hearing briefs on claimants’ behalf.
