This week, NOSSCR submitted comments on the agency’s proposed iSSI expansion. If you’re experiencing déjà vu, it is because the agency asked for comments on this proposed expansion almost exactly one year ago (and we also submitted comments them). After last year’s comment period, the agency delayed expansion until now. While this proposed expansion still leaves a lot to be desired, it is an important first step in moving the SSI application fully online, and we hope that the agency will follow through with their proposed enhancements and continue to improve upon them in the near future.
