Attorney

London Disability, based in Owings Mills, MD, helps individuals with severe physical and/or mental impairments qualify for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits before the Social Security Administration (SSA). We are seeking an attorney looking to enter this exciting, challenging, and important field.

The attorney is responsible for managing cases at all levels of the SSD/SSI application process, with a particular focus on representing clients in administrative hearings. The attorney will be responsible for their own caseload and supervise a team of support staff.

Applicants should have a strong academic background, excellent oral and written advocacy skills, and a demonstrated commitment to helping the disadvantaged. Admission to practice law before any U.S. State or the District of Columbia is required.

In-person appearances for administrative hearings in Maryland, Washington, DC, and surrounding states, with possible occasional travel outside of the region, are required, so applicants must live or be willing to relocate to within a reasonable commuting distance of the Baltimore and Washington SSA offices. Training will be conducted out of our Owings Mills headquarters.
