Day 1 Recap: NOSSCR 2024
Day 1 Recap: Today started with our Bootcamp sessions, covering topics from an intro to Social Security law all the way to setting your cases up for success without worrying about vocational witnesses, and numerous CLE opportunities.
Afternoon programming featured numerous sessions including discussions on the 1996 rulings, maximizing your early approval chances, and NOSSCR’s very own Tom Krause, sharing the basics about class action lawsuits.
The early evening networking started with attendees meeting with their various circuits, followed by a very successful Welcome Reception hosted by NextGen.
The evening wrapped with the Scully Dinner where members were recognized for their contributions to the Social Security community with an awards ceremony, libations and some local fare, and a surprise visit from SSA Commissioner O’Malley!
Great live music from local artists provided the soundtrack to our day and gave members a taste of Nashville, Music City itself!
