This session will focus on hot technology topics for small firms and solo Social Security practitioners, and particularly how to leverage technology to get more help for less money. It will include a look at the current state of generative AI for legal research, including CaseText’s CoCounsel and Ask Westlaw. It will also include a brief overview of other useful AI features in CoCounsel and Westlaw Precision, including those available and used by the federal courts to analyze Social Security briefs. In addition, we will discuss useful types of AI, including VOIP apps, writing assistants, like Grammarly Go, remote receptionists, case management tools, and even ChatGPT. Emphasis will be placed on leveraging these tools in daily office operations to streamline client communication, elevate the quality of work output, and reduce costs and working hours.
