Alert: Appointed Representative Services (ARS) Hearing Office Status Report Issue
The Appointed Representative Services (ARS) Hearing Office provided NOSSCR this status report on Monday, November 22, from the Social Security Administration (SSA):
“Over the weekend a change made to our case processing system caused an issue with ARS. The Hearing Office Status Report is currently unavailable for appointed representatives. We are actively working to resolve the issue. We have asked our hearing offices to assist [appointed representatives] as needed. I will let you know as soon as this issue has been resolved.”
Thank you to our members who made us aware of the issue, and to our contacts at SSA for making sure we received an update.
ARS allows appointed representatives to view important eFolder documents, download documents and status reports, and upload medical evidence. It is an essential tool for disability representatives and we hope the issue gets resolved soon. We will be providing members with an alert as soon as the ability to generate status reports is back up and running.
