Associate Attorney

Boutique firm in Long Island, representing clients before the Social Security Administration for disability claims is seeking a dynamic individual for an associate attorney position. You will be involved in all aspects of representing clients, including: potential client screenings/intakes; case/file work-up; court appearances, both in-person and virtual; among other duties.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years experience as an attorney, with court appearances a plus;
• Excellent writing skills (a sample will be required);
• Excel at time-management skills and multi-tasking capabilities;
• Flexible scheduling;
• Be able to work effectively with little direction;
• Be a team-player;
• A desire to grow with the firm and move up accordingly.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice in any bar of any state in the U.S., preferably New York;
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in any area of law, with preference given to practice in the area of Social Security or other disability type law;
• A vehicle for travel to court as needed and a valid driver’s license;

Compensation Package:

• Base Salary from $80,000 – $110,000 (dependent on experience);
• Gas / commuter allowance;
• Health Insurance and 401k negotiable;
• 3 weeks vacation / 7 day sick time / 2 personal days per year;
• New business participation fee sharing
