Federal Court Brief Writer

THE FEDERAL APPEALS FIRM™, is a law firm concentrating its practice in handling Social Security Disability cases at the Federal Court level.  We strive for excellence in Federal Court appeals.

The firm is based in New York City / New Jersey and is seeking contract counsel with superb writing skills to assist with brief writing at the federal level.   A qualified candidate will assist the firm in representing clients, and preparing appellate briefs, in Social Security Disability Appeals at the Federal District Court level throughout the nation.

This opportunity is remote.  A qualified candidate does not have to reside in the State of NY or NJ to be considered.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Prior experience successfully handling Social Security claims, hearings and appeals a plus, or experience handling Federal appeals
• Strong academic background with excellent research and writing skills required
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence

Pay:  Fee sharing on cases assigned to the brief writer.  Inquire for details.

• If you have prepared Federal court appellate briefs, please make sure your writing samples are from briefs you have authored, along with an explanation of the result obtained.  If you have authored more than 2 Federal briefs, please provide a list of the other cases you have authored with case numbers and the outcome of each.  If the list is extensive, please provide up to 10, and then a numerical summary of the rest.
